About Aditi
Aditi is a proud citizen of India. She lives in Pune City, Maharashtra, India.
With a post-graduate degree in mathematics, Aditi worked in IT for a few years. In 2012-13 she completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Natural Resource Management and Nature Conservation from the Ecological Society. That one-year course was a turning point that set her on a completely different path.
In 2014, a few like-minded people came together to do ‘something‘ that would change the state of Mula and Mutha rivers in Pune city. That something eventually became Jeevitnadi – Living River Foundation, Aditi being a founder-director.
In 2016, Aditi created a forum named Brown Leaf with the vision that not a single dry leaf should be burnt in India.
Since 2016, she has told children, the ‘Story of a River’. It was a way of reaching the children who could not come to the river for Jeevitnadi activities.
Her foray into writing began quite unexpectedly with the Atak Matak platform with a story about Brown Leaf

Aditi writes in Marathi and English.
Currently, she is writing Stories that Solve Problems. Deriving inspiration from numerous individuals and initiatives in Pune City, the stories discuss problems and explore solutions. Check the Stories that Solve Problems.
Aditi is leading Mission City Chakra a project at the Centre for Sustainable Development, Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics. The objective is to make Pune, a Zero-Waste City. You will find many ideas on this theme in her stories.
